Have you ever experienced a feeling of disconnection from God? Well I have. It is a lonely place. You (I ) feel/felt isolated, not knowing where to turn. It was a time when it appeared returning to my old self ( old ways) seemed the only way out.
Well that was wrong! It caused me to feel more isolated and not hear God’s voice.
The Word says: Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am only a youth. But the Lord said to me, Say not, I am only a youth; for you shall go to all to whom I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. (Jeremiah 1:5-7 AMP)
So God knew I would feel this way and how long this disconnect would last. He knows all, sees all, and cares about all of our issues even when we believe He has left us and is not listening. He waits patiently waits on us to turn around and see His glory surrounding us.
God’s unconditional love for us surpasses our own understanding. No matter what peaks and valleys we experience in life I’ve learned God is always with me. No matter how I feel I’m never alone. God’s loving arms are holding me tightly. He never let’s me go. He holds on while giving me room to use free will. He is our Father and we are His children. He cuts the umbilical cord not to disconnect from us instead it’s to allow us to grow into the person He has made us to be. He releases us so that we surrender to His will ( His commandments).
